Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Raleigh, NC based staffing firm is seeking to fill an immediate need for a Bookkeeper to also support the office administrative duties for our client in south of the Raleigh area (Clayton/Garner area). We are seeking qualified candidates with 5+ years of bookkeeping experience. Industry background needed can range from construction to product based companies. Location will be south of Raleigh area. This will be a direct hire opportunity!

 

Must be able to handle all aspects of the bookkeeping process to include, but not limited to:

· Weekly and monthly financial reporting

· AP and AR

· Collections

· Invoicing

· Reconciliation of accounts

· Bank deposits

· Payroll to include multi-state payroll

· Must be able to manage garnishments or any other state/federal mandated deductions

· Pay state and federal taxes

· Prepare W-2’s

· Manage employee paperwork

· Manage company insurance deductions/payments

· Filing of state unemployment

· Maintain business license and renewals

· Additional administrative duties and tasks as needed.

 

Computer skills:

· Quickbooks

· Microsoft Excel

· Microsoft Word

 

Salary range, depending on experience: $40-$50K

Education: must have a minimum of a Associates Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience with some accounting courses taken in addition to work history.

Must be able to pass formal background checks.
